By registering and attending Amerada 2023, you affirm that you are a legal adult in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. During Amerada some events are athletic in nature and some are alcohol related, while we are insured by the Southington Jaycees, you agree to not hold any parties including but not limited to JCI USA, JCI Canada, The Southington Jaycees, and Camp Greenwood Trails, liable for injuries, loss or damage to personal items and accept full legal responsibility for your own actions and choices.

The Jaycees began Amerada in 1957 as an opportunity for fellowship and friendly competition between the Canadian and US Jaycees. This makes Amerada the second longest running international JCI event. Amerada is held annually the weekend after Labor Day, and each country takes their turn to host. After last hosting in 2004 and attending many Amerada weekends across the US and Canada, the Southington Jaycees are excited to be the hosts of Amerada 2023. Greenwood Trails is conveniently located in the northwest corner of Connecticut, a 2 hour drive from both New York City and Boston. Driving from the Canadian border can take under 5 hours. Guests are always welcome to this adults only event, but must be invited by a current or past member of JCI.
